Another attempt to make two lovey dragons, like Fire and Ice [link] that can be displayed seperately. First attempt at this was Tiger and Lilly, [link] which I wasn't completely happy with, so this is take two, Yin and Yang.

Once again polymer clay with glass eyes. All colors come from the clay, no paints used, and all hand sculpted no molds used.

Yang alone [link]

Yin along [link]

they are cute! and they look like a lot of work! I loke the icedragon... the way the white and blue mixes seamless is very nice and the horns look like it would drive me up the wall if I had to do them... they both look a bit sad though.
and the fire dragon has a very cute face! the wings look like a lot work too.
how long did it take to make these two?
:iconglori305:
Thanks! Took a little over 7 hours to make the pair (not including baking time and there was one bake for the spines, horns, claws and such and then another one for the complete assembly) and the spikes do drive me nuts, but I like them so much I keep on doing them, even though when I did my first Ice dragon [link] I said never again.

These two are really cute! I love how you do the wings and use the colours of the clay.
The detail is amazing, especially the ridge of spikes on Yang. Only Yang´s muzzle looks a bit angular.

I can see why you like the sikes even though they are so much work. they really look great!
:iconglori305:
Thanks, I think Yang's muzzle came out a bit boxy, but I liked the contrast with Yin's more serpentine muzzle.

Thanks, I've actually been featured in her recent fav's a few times, and she has me on her watch list. When she did this she said she was just another person, cause I was so enthusiastic about being featured in her journal.....I feel having a GD watch you is a special thing!
