Lilly and Tiger by Glori305 Lilly and Tiger by Glori305
Tiger and Lilly are a pair of polymer clay dragons who were made to be together, but can be displayed apart, Lilly alone is here [link] and Tiger alone is here [link]

They were inspired by an earlier sculpt I did, Fire and Ice [link] I wanted to try for a loving pair that were not necessarily diplayed together.

They are made of polymer clay with glass seed bead eyes, all colors come from the clay, no paint was used in their creations.

Available for sale or trade, note me if interested

Well, if you want an etsy store, mine has a purple dragon of this type and a pink one, [link] I will have tiger and lilly up there just as soon as I can decide if I want to put them up as a pair (which would make them very expensive) or individually, more affordable, but I risk them being seperated, it would break my heart to put them in different boxes and send them in different directions.

I think so too. Lol! But it's inspiring, so knock yourself out. When I get the extra monies for all the clay, I intend to try one myself. It'll probably be all lopsided & delapidated looking. :lmao:

I'll keep that in mind indeed. I don't even have any clay yet. I had looked at a few places online, & was just going to get one brick of a color just to start practicing with it. All I had in PayPal was $10. All I found though were $3-$6 for 2 oz of clay. I don't know if that's a good price for that amount or not. But after shipping, it ended up being over $10. That's outrageous. I just need to go to Michael's & see what they have. It's 45 min away, & the only craft store around here. Lol!

$3 for a 2oz package is about average, and I always wait for Michael's to have a sale before I buy clay, it will be about $3 a package there too.

Yeah, shipping kills on those little orders.

If you drop me a note with your address, I can ship you a couple of packs of Fimo for shipping cost, someone got them for me for Christmas, and as they cook at a different tempt from Premo and Kato, my regular clays, they are useless to me.

Sent! ;)

So Premo & Kato is just better than Fimo, or it just bakes different? I just got a toaster over for Christmas. :D

Ok, I think Kato is the best, it is the strongest when baked, however, it also tends to be the most expensive/hardest to find.

I know some people that swear by Fimo, it's not as strong when baked as Kato, but probably Premo's equal, but some people love it and use it exclusively.

I don't use it specifically because it bakes at a lower temp than my other clays, so I can't mix, if you look at my stuff, I mix my colors in EVERYTHING, so I would have to clean out my stash of Premo and Kato and stock up on Fimo. As I had a huge stock of Premo and Kato when they changed their formula, I just stopped using Fimo....used to use it when it baked at the same temp.
