Doll Dress

Ok, I have made a posable doll out of polymer clay (my first posable!) and then of course had to dress her. Prior to getting all my pic's taken of her, I decided to do detail bits on the dress as I put WAY too much time into this.

Ok, the undredress is a nylon and the overdress a rayon/something blend (don't remember for sure, all came out of my scrap stash) the dress and underdress are about 8 inches from shoulder to hem, all the embriodery is done with sewing thread. It the embroidery I am really really proud of, hence the inset.

The dress is going to have to be sewn onto the doll, I don't have the room for even teeny-tiny gromets in the bodice and I have had too many sewn eyelets tear out to trust them, or want to use them on this.

Should have the doll up sometime next week.
