Butterfly 1

Found the kit for two embroidered butterfly's unopened at a local ARC store at a great price over a year ago. The other butterfly can been seen here [link]

I had to have it, my grandmother collected butterflies and it made me think of her. Completed them fairly quickly, but then didn't have anything to do with them. Thought about making them into a patchwork pillow, when a few months ago, I came across another unopened embroidery kit (this one from LeeWards if you can believe that!) for 6 mini flowers, that included frames.

Not only were the frames just the right size for my butterflies (3 1/2 inch by 3 1/4 inch), but one of the flowers was a dandylion, which you never really see patterns for, as most people condem this lovely flower to the state of a weed. As you may have guessed, I love dandylions.
