Bunnies of DOOM by Glori305 Bunnies of DOOM by Glori305
Ok, the orange one is Carrots, the purple one is Eggplant. Of course my son may change their names once he gets them, but until sunday, they are stuck.

Both have tails of dyed alpaca wool, and their ears are lined with pink felt.

Carrot is made of an orange nylon, with a bit of shine to it, left over from one of my daughters costumes, and has blue eyes.

Eggplant has green eyes and is made from vinyl left over from making a doll's raincoat.

These are made with my son in mind, he will be getting them sunday, they are unusual textures, in an attempt to keep him busy in places he needs to sit and be quiet such as resturants.

Pattern from a book "Making Soft Toys for Children" by Pamela Peake

These were entered in the crafted eastertide contest (all entries here [link] ) They didn't win anything

The way the pattern is now, it would be a 4 legged octopus....would have to meditate on how to make it 8 legged.

I was thinking starfish when I was making them. Does seem like a pattern yelling out to be modified for other stuff doesn't it.

Probably more a matter of different talents, I don't cook well at all, for example.
