Blue Fair Isle Hatby ~Glori305

Over the summer, my 9 year old decided that his favorite color was no longer yellow, it is now blue. So he asked if I could make him blue mittens which are here [link]

Then he wanted a hat as well.

If you are following the pattern for "Fancy Fair Isle" from Hats Gloves Scarves by Louisa Harding, do not worry that your had will come out pointy, I modified the pattern.

Technical stuff, I think all the yarn is redheart scrap, ear flaps at son's requestion the pattern has a ribbed beanie style. Also did this in the round, instead of flat as the pattern was written.
