Ok, I know now if I do embroidery on a dress, to be sure to make it big, because it will be viewed from a distance, not close up, so a small design doesn't really show well.

Other than that, rotten pic of me, good pic of the gown.....ignore the woman in the red dress, focus on the dress.

It's so pretty. ^w^ The embroidery must've taken a while.

I was fortunate at the time to have a job that would let me do the embroidery at my desk when it was slow as long as I was answering the phone (call center job) Over 1000 pearls on that dress.....I know cause I bought a pack of 1000 pearls and ran out.

This is such a pretty dress! The emroidery is particularly lovely, definitely worth the hours you put into it. :)

Thank you, working on her sister dress now, and blue and white striped, will get a pic up as soon as it is done.

This is beautiful! ohmygosh I wish I had the patience to learn to sew. This makes me want to go to a Renaissance fair :D
Trust me you could learn, it isn't that hard.

The really thing to remember is the first few things you sew will REALLY suck. Everyone's does, it a learning experience. I wouldn't post pics of the first few things I made even if I had taken them =)

:D maybe I can convince my mom to teach me.
That is another thing my mother sucked at....teaching me anything.

I learned from books and trial and error better than I learned from anyone.

Maybe I'll try to teach myself then. Its the same with my mom actually. With driving and especially math.
