12 dollar dress

My local ARC (thrift store) has a section for cut fabric that people have donated, being who I am I visit it every time I am there. Last tuesday I found this fabric, the wine is a very short plush velveteen, and a was $7 the dusty rose is ultrasuede and was $5 hence the title, in the sketch you can see I was thinking of putting buttons down the front of the dress, which would of course add to the final cost, depending on if I use that idea or not.

I have decided to have the hood button as well, and I have added interfacing, and thread (of course) so it's a bit more than $12, and that is not counting anything for my time.

Made the pattern for the overdress
Cut out the overdress
and cut out the hood
and the hood is DONE!
